The Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) bank offers loans under this business lending scheme to women who, individually or jointly, own a proprietary enterprise and hold 51% of the share capital. Women entrepreneurs are offered loans for small-scale businesses in the Oriental Mahila Vikas Yojana, ranging from Rs. 10 lakh to Rs. 25 lakh. As a result, no guarantor of any kind is necessary to apply for this loan, and female entrepreneurs have a 7-year repayment schedule. Women entrepreneurs also receive a 2% loan interest rate discount.
