Women who are beginning businesses from small firms are provided financing under the SSY Business Loan Scheme. This comprises a tutoring facility, a tailoring shop, a beauty salon, etc. When a loan is approved, women will also receive a Mudra Card. This Mudra Card functions similarly to a credit card and has a cap of 10% of the loan amount. Additionally, the loan amount ranges from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 5 lakh. The Tarun component of the Mudra Scheme’s loan amount is Rs. 10 lakh.
